Leilani was imported in 1999. Her sire Liostro is the last approved son of Ladykiller XX, legendary sire of many world renowned stallions including Landgraf and Lord. Liostro’s dam line has produced over fifty main mare book mares and several premium mares. He has also produced six approved stallions. Liostro has produced over 100 successful sport horses in Germany and many more abroad. Olinda, Leilani's dam is by the well known KWPN stallion Voltaire out of the Lord Calando mare. Voltaire was the sire with the most offspring at the Olympics in Atlanta 1996.
