Noblewood Park Beretta
DOB: 2004
Noblewood Park Beretta is a 16.3hh bay Holsteiner stallion bred by Noblewood Park Holsteiner Stud in Western Australia. He is sired by the renowned Burggraaf, a son of the legendary Landgraf I, and out of the premium imported mare Cantara by Cantus, combining two of the most influential European jumping bloodlines known for producing elite performance horses with excellent temperaments and rideability. Cantara herself was an imported Holsteiner mare who competed successfully up to 1.50m in Europe before being acquired as a broodmare for her exceptional pedigree and proven athleticism. She was widely regarded for her powerful hindquarter, classic Holsteiner scope, and outstanding trainability, traits she consistently passed on to her progeny, including Beretta.
Beretta is highly regarded for his natural balance, athleticism, and willingness to please. He demonstrates impressive scope, carefulness, and a kind, rideable nature, making him an ideal modern sport horse stallion. His excellent conformation, uphill frame, and expressive movement further complement his athletic ability, presenting as a refined and powerful Holsteiner type.
As a sire, Noblewood Park Beretta reliably passes on his outstanding traits producing leggy quiet progeny. His foals consistently exhibit powerful hindquarter engagement, correct conformation, expressive movement, and calm, trainable temperaments suited to both professional riders and competitive amateurs. Breeders particularly appreciate his reliable Holsteiner genetics, with Burggraaf producing numerous international Grand Prix and Olympic showjumpers, while Cantara’s Cantus lineage adds strength, rideability, and exceptional jumping ability.
Overall, Noblewood Park Beretta represents the ideal Holsteiner stallion: a proven performance horse with desirable temperament, powerful and correct conformation, and elite bloodlines. His combination of Burggraaf and Cantus through Cantara ensures his ongoing influence within Australian sport horse breeding, producing quality progeny capable of excelling at the highest levels of showjumping and eventing while retaining the quiet nature and work ethic so sought after in competitive disciplines.
Noblewood Stud still carries Beretta frozen semen, Beretta is the full brother to one of Australia's finest showjumping mares, the exceptional Noblewood Park Blatini, who was the winner of many World Cups with David Dobson.
